S.L. 427.61 Art. 13Obligations of private importers.

(1) If the manufacturer does not fulfil the responsibilities for the conformity of the product with these regulations, a private importer, before putting the product into service, shall ensure that it has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements set out in regulation 5(1) and Schedule I and carry out or have carried out the obligations of the manufacturer set out in regulation 8(2), (3), (7) and (9). of the notified body which has carried out the conformity assessment of the product is marked on the product.
