S.L. 409.12 Art. 11Duration of organised excursion.

An operator shall engage the services of a tourist guide for any of the following excursions:

(a) a half-day excursion not exceeding four hours;

(b) a whole day excursion not exceeding eight hours (inclusive of the time allowed for lunch);

(c) a night excursion not exceeding five hours; or

(d) an excursion from Malta to Gozo, or vice-versa, not exceeding nine hours: Provided that in particular circumstances, the operator and the tourist guide may agree that the duration of an excursion shall differ from the above mentioned.
