In these regulations -

"Act" means the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act, and includes the First Schedule thereto; "the Instrument of Modification" means the Instrument of Modification of the original licence issued by the Minister under article 46 of the Act on the 4th March, 2001 in respect of the said original licence, which instrument was laid on the Table of the House on the 5th March, 2001; "the original licence" means the Licence entitled a "Licence to establish and operate a real time fixed and mobile data location and monitoring system" issued on the 5th August, 1998 by the Electronic Communications Regulator in favour of the company Datatrak Systems Limited; "the modified licence" means the original licence as modified by the Intrument of Modification.
