(1) It is hereby authorised that due to oversubscription in Lm5,000,000 6.9% Malta Government Stock 2002 (IV) an additional issue of Lm18,750,000 6.9% Malta Government Stock 2002 (IV) be issued thus bringing the amount of 6.9% Malta Government Stock 2002 (IV) created by means of Legal Notice 145

of 1997 to a total amount of Lm23,750,000.

(2) The half yearly contribution to the sinking fund according to paragraph 6 of Legal Notice 145 of 1997 shall be raised from Lm50,000 to Lm237,500.

(3) All applications received by the closing date 18th October, 1997 will be accepted.
