S.L. 378.17 Art. 17Effects of the exercise of the rightofwithdrawal on ancillary contracts.

(1) Without prejudice to regulation 15 of the Consumer Credit Regulations, if the consumer exercises his right of withdrawal from a distance or an off-premises contract in accordance with regulations 10 to 16, any ancillary contracts shall be automatically terminated, without any costs for the consumer, other than costs provided for in regulations 15(2) and 16.

(2) When a trader is informed by a consumer of his decision to exercise his right of withdrawal in accordance with regulation 13, the trader must inform any other trader with whom the consumer has an ancillary contract of the decision to terminate such contract in accordance with sub-regulation (1).
