S.L. 370.20 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Investment Services Act (UCITS Management Company Passport) Regulations.

(2) These regulations shall apply to Maltese management companies and to European management companies providing services in Malta through the establishment of a branch or under the freedom to provide services.

(3) These regulations transpose and implement, in part, the provisions of Articles 1(3), 2(1)(c) to (e) and (g), 2(3), 17 to 21 and 109 of the UCITS Directive and they shall be interpreted and applied accordingly.

(4) These regulations further transpose and implement, in part, the provisions of Article 1(3) of Directive 2014/91/EU and they shall be interpreted and applied accordingly.
