Notwithstanding the provisions on the re-use of components which are suitable for re-use and on the recovery of components which cannot be re-used contained in the Waste

Management (End-of-Life Vehicles) Regulations, it shall not be lawful to continue to use or otherwise re-use in any manner whatsoever the chassis number of an end-of life vehicle which has been transferred or delivered to an authorised treatment facility.
