S.L. 35.40 Art. 2Fees payable. (€)

(1) The fees listed in the Schedule shall be payable to the authorised officer as designated by the Prime Minister as the person authorised to issue identity documents or to any person delegated for the purpose.

(2) The authorised officer may waive any fees payable in respect of a particular application if, in the opinion of the authorised officer, payment of the fee would cause financial hardship to the applicant, taking into consideration the applicant’s means and circumstances.
