The fees payable to the Director for Veterinary Services for the issue or renewal of a licence under the provisions of the Keeping of Animals in Zoos Regulations shall be the following:

Opening of a new zoo €500 Renewal of a zoo licence €100

Together with the licensing fee, both the applicant and the licence holder shall be subject to a contribution fee payable to the

Animal Welfare Awareness and Research Fund as established in the

Keeping of Animals in Zoos Regulations as follows:

Upon application of a new zoo €1,500 Renewal of a zoo licence €400
