S.L. 327.745 Art. 9Theses Presentation and Format

(1) The Board shall approve and publish guidelines on the format and presentation of the theses and practice component (as applicable) for the Degree and the Degree by Practice as Research.

(2) Degree theses shall consist of between 80,000 and 100,000 words, excluding endnotes, footnotes, list of references, appendices, abstract and preliminary material.

(3) Degree by Practice as Research theses shall consist of between 40,000 and 50,000 words, excluding endnotes/footnotes, list of references, appendices, abstract and preliminary material.

(4) Students registered on the Degree by Practice as Research are required to provide a permanent record of the research practice in an appropriate format, as indicated in the guidelines approved by the Board, and which shall be included in the copies presented to the Faculty and the University Library.
