S.L. 327.719 Art. 1Citation and Interpretation 2 [S.L.

(1) These bye-laws may be cited as the Bye-Laws for the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence - B.Sc. (Hons) - under the auspices of the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology and the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology.

(2) In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires -

“the Boards” means the Boards of the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology and of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology;

“the Board of Studies” means the Board of Studies appointed by Senate for the Course on the recommendations of the Boards of the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology and of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology;

“the Certificate” means the Certificate in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence;

“the Course” means the programme of study leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence - B.Sc. (Hons);

“the Degree” means the degree of Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence -B.Sc. (Hons);

“the Diploma” means the Diploma in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence;

“the Higher Diploma” means the Higher Diploma in Language Technology and Artificial Intelligence – H.Dip.; and TECHNOLOGY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE -327.719 B.SC. (HONS)

“the Principal Regulations” means the General Regulations for University Undergraduate Awards, 2019.
