S.L. 327.669 Art. 45

The following grades when assigned to Study-Units shall not be taken into consideration for the purpose of computing a student’s progress or the award classification, but shall form part of the student’s academic record:

Grade Descriptor

P Pass - when assessment is based on a Pass/Fail basis only.

I Temporary grade for (a) Incomplete work due to justifiable reasons (illness, approved Absence, etc.) for which the assessment date has been postponed or the deadline for submission of work has been extended; or (b) work which is being considered in terms of the disciplinary procedures stipulated in the University Assessment Regulations, 2009.
