S.L. 327.419 Art. 5Programme of study.

(1) The programme of study shall comprise study-units to which a total of 90 credits are assigned, of which 60 credits are assigned to taught and practical study-units and 30 credits are assigned to the dissertation study-unit.

(2) The programme of study shall be published after approval by Senate, normally not less than eight months prior to the commencement of the course and shall include:

(a) theoretical and practical training in the following subjects: Pharmacy Practice Clinical Pharmacy Community Health Care Legislation and Professional Ethics;

(b) at least six months of in-service training in a pharmacy open to the public or in a hospital under the supervision of the pharmaceutical department of that hospital; and

(c) a dissertation study-unit.

(3) The programme of study referred to in bye-law 3(3) and (4) shall comprise study-units to which a total of 30 credits are assigned and shall consist of the following study-units: Patient Care Management Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs Research Paper.
