The dissertation may be examined before or after the final performance. In examining the dissertation, each examiner shall submit an independent preliminary report to the chairman of the Board of Examiners, either approving the dissertation unconditionally or subject to the correction of minor errors to the satisfaction of the chairman of the Board, or as indicated in regulation 21.
