S.L. 327.185 Art. 5Institute Doctoral Committee.

The Board shall recommend to Senate the appointment of an Institute Doctoral Committee composed as follows: the Director of the Institute as Chairman and four senior academic members of staff, normally heads of department, at least one of whom shall be from another faculty, institute or centre, provided that when the Director of the Institute is being proposed as Principal Supervisor, co-supervisor or adviser, he cannot chair the meeting.
