S.L. 312.1 Art. 7Offences and penalties.

(1) Any person who contravenes any of the provisions of these Regulations shall be guilty of a contravention and shall, on conviction, be liable to -

(a) a fine (ammenda) of eleven euros and sixty-five cents (11.65) for contravening any of the provisions of regulation 5(1);

(b) a fine (ammenda) of twenty-three euros and twenty-nine cents (23.29) for contravening any of the provisions of regulations 3(1), 4 or 5(2); and

(c) a fine (ammenda) of fifty-eight euros and twenty-three cents (58.23) for contravening the provisions of regulation 3(2).

(2) In the case where the contravention is committed by a minor, the person having the legal custody of such minor shall be deemed to have committed the offence.

(3) Where a dog is allowed to stray in contravention of regulation 3(1), the licensee or the keeper of the dog shall be deemed to have committed the contravention.
