SmartCity consisting of the immovable property defined as the Site in the deed of Emphyteutical Grant to be signed between the Government of Malta and SmartCity (Malta) Limited TECOM Investments FZ-LLC and the Malta Maritime Authority approved by the House of Representatives on the 20th March 2007 is hereby designated as a Designated Special Area for the purposes of the Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act.
