S.L. 246.1 Art. 2Charging of fee.

(1) There shall be charged to any non-resident person, not being a citizen of Malta, a fee of €232.94 in respect of any permit granted by the Minister under the provisions of -

(a) article 5(1)(b), or

(b) article 5(2), of the Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act, for the acquisition of any immovable property by such person.

(2) The provision of subregulation (1) shall have effect only in respect of permits granted on or after the day immediately following the date of the coming into effect of these regulations.
