S.L. 226.1 Art. 7Enforcement.

A maritime enforcement officer, whether on board a relevant vessel or craft or otherwise, may take appropriate action with respect to any person or to any ship within Maltese waters or, in so far as the conditions laid down in the proviso to regulation 4(1) are satisfied, on the high seas who is reasonably suspected of having committed or of being about to commit an offence under these regulations.
