S.L. 217.21 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Conditions of Entry and Residence of Third-Country Nationals in the Framework of an Intra-Corporate Transfer Regulations.

(2) These regulations transpose Council Directive 2014/66/EU of the 15th May 2014 on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals in the framework of an intra-corporate transfer.

(3) The scope of these regulations is to determine:

(a) the conditions of entry to, and residence for more than ninety days in Malta and the rights of third-country nationals and of their family members in the framework of an intra-corporate transfer; and

(b) the conditions of entry and residence, and the rights of third-country nationals, referred to in sub-regulation (1), when Malta is not the Member State which first grants the third-country national an intra-corporate transferee permit on the basis of these regulations.
