S.L. 217.15 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is Conditions of Entry and

Residence of Third-Country Nationals for the purpose of Highly Qualified Employment Regulations.

(2) These regulations transpose Council Directive 2009/50/EC th of the 25 May 2009 regarding the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purpose of highly qualified employment.

(3) The scope of these regulations is to determine:

(a) the conditions of entry and residence for more than three months in the territory of the Member States of third-country nationals for the purpose of highly qualified employment as EU Blue Card holders, and of their family members; and

(b) the conditions for entry and residence of third-country nationals and of their family members under paragraph

(a) in Member States other than the first Member State.
