S.L. 204.7 Art. 1Citation and scope.

(1) The title of these regulations is the Central Bank of

Malta Act (Appointment of Competent Authority on Interchange Fees for Card-Based Payment Transactions) Regulations.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to implement the provisions of Regulation (EU) No 2015/751 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2015 on interchange fees for card-based payment transactions hereinafter referred to as "the Regulation".
