Staff pertaining to the International Relations Unit shall be provided with adequate and regular training and shall be qualified to carry out the following: AUTHORITIES AND OTHER AUTHORITIES OF THE MEMBER STATES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION HAVING

SIMILAR POWERS

(a) the use of data processing tools used within the International Relations Unit, in particular Europol’s Secure Information Exchange Network Application (SIENA) and the single electronic case management system;

(b) the application of legislation relevant for the activities of the International Relations Unit under these regulations, in particular on data protection matters, on cross-border cooperation between law enforcement authorities, including these regulations and the Europol Regulation, and on the handling of confidential information;

(c) the use of the languages included in the list established by regulation 7.
