S.L. 16.2 Art. 2Preparation of duplicate acts.

(1) It shall be the duty of the Director of Public Registry to prepare duplicate acts of civil status of all such original acts deposited in the Public Registry in Malta or Gozo which are destroyed or damaged through fire or wear and tear.

(2) The preparation of the civil acts mentioned in sub-regulation (1) of this regulation shall be carried out by reference to the register kept at the Public Registry.
