S.L. 118.3 Art. 12Duty to give information to prescribed persons.

Every person with respect to whom it is the duty of the person prescribed by article 7 of the Census Order to furnish census information shall give the information upon demand to such prescribed persons:

Provided that any person present at midnight ending the census day on the premises of any hotel, boarding house, guest house, hospital, nursing home or similar institution may, by oral request to the supervisor or enumerator of the census locality or enumerating area or by written application to the census officer, elect to furnish only his or her name, status within the institution and sex, to the prescribed person and the rest of the census information personally to the aforesaid supervisor or enumerator.
