S.L. 111.1 Art. 35Payment of public claims out of pensions, etc.

Where the Committee is satisfied that any sum is due to the Government of the United Kingdom or a Government Department from a person in respect of whom an injury allowance, pension or allowance has been awarded under this Scheme or that any overpayment has been made in respect of any such person by the Government of the United Kingdom, or a Government Department, the Committee may deduct from that injury allowance, pension or allowance such amounts and at such times as they may think fit in respect of that sum or overpayment and may apply the amount so deducted towards paying or repaying that sum or overpayment.
