Cap. 602 Art. 74Arrangements for foster care.

(1) Any unauthorised person or any unauthorised organisation that makes an arrangement for the placement of a minor in foster care shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term of not less than six months and not exceeding three years or to a fine (multa) of not less than two thousand euro (€2,000) but not more than five thousand euro (€5,000), or to both such fine and imprisonment.

(2) For the purposes of sub-article (1), a person or organisation shall be deemed to make arrangements for the placement of a minor in foster care if it enters into any agreement or makes any arrangements to facilitate the fostering of a minor.
