Cap. 602 Art. 3Minor to be held as having sufficient understanding unless the contrary becomes evident.

By virtue of this article, whenever according to this Act it is to be determined whether a minor has sufficient understanding or not, or whenever in a procedure according to this Act anyone is to consider and determine whether such sufficient understanding is present or is not, and notwithstanding any wording used for such a discretionary exercise, those determining whether there is or there is not said sufficient understanding shall presume that the minor has such a sufficient understanding unless the contrary becomes evident.
