Cap. 602 Art. 14Juvenile Court. 

The Court shall have competence to hear and decide all cases which according to this Act are not within the competence of any other organ established under it and for such purpose, the Juvenile

Court shall be deemed to be a Court of Magistrates with civil competence and shall be deemed to have civil jurisdiction with regard to taking cognizance of proceedings relating to children and young persons in terms of this Act:

Provided that in any case heard by the Court, the Director (Child Protection) shall have the right to file notes on matters relevant to a given proceeding, which notes may also include notes of submissions or for the filing of relevant evidence.
