Cap. 455 Art. 53Power to make regulations.

(1) The Minister may, after consultation with SportMalta, make regulations prescribing matters required or permitted by this

Act to be prescribed, or necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving full effect to the provisions of this Act.

(2) The power of the Minister to make regulations under the provisions of this Act shall include the power to establish the penalties in respect of any violation or contravention thereof, or failure to comply therewith, and the applicability or otherwise of the Probation Act: Provided that such penalties may not exceed a fine (multa) of two thousand and three hundred and twenty-nine euro and thirty-seven cents (2,329.37).
