Cap. 454 Art. 24Removing or breaking of tags, seals and devices. Short measure on sale.

Any person who unlawfully removes, defaces, obliterates, breaks or otherwise changes any tag, seal or device that has been

(a) sells any product by weight, measure or number where the weight, measure or number of the goods sold is less than that purported to be sold or is less than corresponds with the price charged;

(b) in connection with a measuring instrument, makes a false record of any measuring; or

(c) commits any other fraud in connection with any measuring by means of a measuring instrument, shall be guilty of an offence.
