Cap. 353 Art. 14Punishment for acts of violence connected with hijacking. Cap. 9.

(1) Whoever, being a person committing the offence of hijacking of an aircraft, commits, in connection with such offence, any act of violence against any passenger or member of the crew of such aircraft, shall be punished with the same punishment with which he would have been punishable under any law for the time being in force in Malta if such act had been committed in Malta.

(2) For the purposes of subarticle (1) any act of violence means any act which would constitute an offence under articles 211, 212, 214, 216, 217, 218, 220 and 222 of the Criminal Code.
