Cap. 13 Art. 414When sale of goods gives rise to abandonment.

The sale of the goods in consequence of a peril of the sea, during the voyage and before the arrival of such goods at the place of destination, is deemed to be a case of loss which authorises the abandonment, whatever the proceeds of such sale may be.
