In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires:

"authorised officer" means an officer of the scheduled ro-ro passenger ships services operator so contracted by Government to operate such services or a public official appointed by the Ministry responsible for transport;

"disability" shall have the same meaning as assigned to it in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with

Disabilities Act;

"person with disability" means any person in possession of a specific identification document or other documentation acknowledging such disability; and

"ro-ro passenger ship" means a ship with facilities to enable road vehicles to roll on and roll off the vessel, and carrying more than twelve (12) passengers.
