When submitting an application, an applicant shall provide sufficient information to allow the Council to consider the application and shall in particular indicate the type of activity, the date and time of the activity, the area where the activity shall take place and the number of participants for whom the activity is intended. The applicant shall indicate the site where the activity is taking place on a site plan.

7.1 No application can be considered unless the applicant pays a fee to the Council in terms of the First Schedule to these Bye-Laws whenever an activity is to be held in virtue of which an authorisation is requested.

7.2 The fees shall be as outlined in the First Schedule:

Provided that the highest fee for an event shall be of five hundred fifty euro (€550).

8.1. Cooking shall be prohibited

(a) in Misrah il-Maqluba;

(b) on St. Matthew’s Chapel parvis, or in the square opposite the Chapel with white floorings;

(c) in the area where benches are situated opposite St. Matthew’s Chapel; and

(d) on the adjacent pavement or in the Chapel’s square.

8.2. Provided that cooking activities are only permissible directed by the Qrendi Local Council:

8.3. In any other activity held outdoors other than in Misraħ il-Maqluba, the applicant shall provide all information as to how and where the cooking is to be done and the measures to be taken to keep the area clean.
