(1) The Executive Secretary shall receive a remuneration equivalent to the remuneration payable to Local Council

Secretaries having nine (9) to thirteen (13) members as prescribed in the Local Government (Human Resources) Regulations.

(2) Without prejudice to the provisions of these regulations, the provisions of articles 53 and 54 of the Act shall, whenever applicable, apply to the Executive Secretary. mutatis mutandis

(3) The provisions of regulations 14(2), (4), and (5), 15(3), 18, 19, 22 and 24, and 26 to 32 of the Local Government (Human Resources) Regulations shall apply in regard to the other employees of the Committee.
