The archivist shall be the lawful representative of the

Archives: he shall be responsible for the custody and preservation of all the documents deposited therein, as well as for the proper management of the Archives, and shall report to the Attorney

General any contravention committed by any notary or other person for non-compliance with the provisions relating to the Archives.
